Tom has held positions at Nike, adidas, Fila, American Sporting Goods, and CHEP. He has C level experience at Fila, American Sporting Goods, and CHEP. He has also served on the boards of many public and private companies including Fila, Sport Brands International, Cutter and Buck, Joe's Jeans, and Lindsay Phillips. He has hands-on experience in managing every aspect of these companies including HR, IT, Legal, Sales, Product Development, Merchandising, Retail, Distribution, Supply Chain Management, and Operations.

Barry Fishel has been a Director at MMS Advisors, a management advisory firm founded in 2002 by former Ernst & Young executives, whose client base includes Laureate, Mitsubishi, Zurich Insurance, and Liberty Mutual. Barry structures and executes profitability analyses, business planning, litigation support, and forensic accounting engagements. Prior to joining MMS Advisors, Barry was the Vice President of Financial and Strategic Planning for Fila USA, where he led the strategic planning efforts for the USA executive team. He developed and led Fila’s financial planning and analysis group, which identified and helped to implement opportunities for improving company profitability. Additionally, Barry managed the financial teams for Fila’s sale to a private equity group and for the sale of a Fila subsidiary to a publicly traded company.
Barry started his career with Ernst & Young, where he helped build a highly profitable $110 million national consulting practice. During his tenure at E&Y, he directed business valuations, due diligence engagements and restructurings. He developed financial projections and valuations for companies with annual revenues up to $1 billion in the health care, retail, manufacturing and professional services industries. Barry managed reviews of debt restructuring proposals for regional financial institutions, where he investigated the financial condition and activity of troubled borrowers.
